Currently, oil-free screw blowers are widely used in the market; their design is more rational and stable. When using this equipment, users should take the following four aspects into consideration: Considering the equipment's operating environment, the usage environment for oil-free screw blowers primarily refers to the site selection and establishment of the blower station.
What is widely used in the market now is Oil-free screw blower Its design is more rational and stable. When using the device, users should consider the following four aspects:

Considering the operating environment of the equipment, the usage environment for oil-free screw blowers primarily refers to the site selection and construction of the blower station. Oil-free screw blowers should be placed in well-ventilated areas, avoiding direct sunlight and rain exposure. They should be installed on firm ground, with a certain distance from walls and ceilings. The relative humidity of the air should be low, and there should be minimal dust and impurities. Regarding the critical parameter of equipment speed, too high a speed is detrimental, as is too low a speed. If the rotational speed is too high, the rotor may not be able to withstand the load, significantly shortening its service life. Conversely, if the speed is too low, the air displacement and pressure will fail to meet operational requirements, leading to severe "oil leakage." The operating temperature refers to the ambient temperature at which the air compressor operates. If the ambient temperature is relatively high, appropriate cooling measures should be taken, and lubricating oils with high viscosity and high flash points should be selected. At lower ambient temperatures, there will generally be no adverse effects. However, special attention must be paid when starting the air compressor at very low temperatures (below 0°C). Be cautious that the lubricating oil might freeze inside the compressor.
Considering that the lubrication method is oil-free, the post-processing equipment can almost meet the requirements of various gases. However, oil-free screw blowers with oil-free lubrication are relatively more expensive and are particularly suitable for industries such as pharmaceuticals and food, where the quality of compressed air is critically important.
For the operation of oil-free screw blowers, we can follow these steps. Developing good operational habits will further help ensure the stability of the equipment and extend its service life. Now, let’s take a look at the operating procedure provided by the oil-free screw blower manufacturer.
1. Preparations before use:
Check the oil level inside the oil-gas separator. Slightly open the drain valve located below the oil-gas separator to remove any condensate that may have accumulated. After confirming that there is no condensate remaining, tighten the valve and then open the air supply valve at the blower inlet.
2. Open:
Turn on the power switch on the stage, and check whether the control panel displays any abnormal readings and whether the phase sequence is correct. If any abnormal display is detected, immediately disconnect the power supply and only resume operation after the fault has been rectified. The machine is equipped with reverse-phase protection; reversing the motor’s direction of rotation is strictly prohibited.
3. Start:
Press the “ON” button on the control panel, and the air compressor will start operating according to the preset mode. At this point, you need to monitor whether the various parameters displayed on the screen are normal (pressure not exceeding 0.85 MPa, exhaust temperature not exceeding 105°C), check for any unusual noises, and verify that there are no oil leaks. If any of these issues are detected, immediately stop the machine and perform an inspection. When starting up, first turn on the main unit, and then about one minute later, turn on the auxiliary unit.
4. Shutting Down: Press the “OFF” button on the control panel, and the air compressor will begin to unload—after a short period, it will stop. It is normal for the compressor to stop immediately. When shutting down, first stop the auxiliary unit, then stop the main unit.
5. If the air compressor exhibits any unusual conditions, press the emergency stop button. If you need to restart it, allow 2 minutes before doing so.
6. It is strictly prohibited to start the blower under load; otherwise, the excessive starting current could damage electrical components.
7. Oil-free screw blower When not in use, disconnect the power supply and close the blower air supply valve. Drain any accumulated water from the cooler, oil-water separator, exhaust pipe, and air bag.
8. During shutdown maintenance, open the circuit breaker of the power distribution cabinet, hang a warning sign, and ground the system.
